Supplement Benefits

“Health is a State of Body. Wellness is a State of Being”. J. Stanford

Are you feeling in optimum health and vitality?

Today, let’s discuss supplements and how they can boost your health and well-being.  I personally find that adding supplements to my daily diet is very beneficial.  I recommend using high quality supplements in order to reap the benefits. If you would like advice, please message me.

Unfortunately, without the use of supplements we simply do not get all the nutrients we need.  If we lived off the land and enjoyed our own home grown produce, this may be less of the case.

Supplementation does not detract from eating a healthy balanced daily diet.  Vitamin B is good for stress, Vitamin C and Zinc are great for keeping our immunity strong.  There are of course also minerals and amino acids which have great benefits too.  Minerals such as potassium and magnesium are important.  Potassium can be found in bananas.  Magnesium aids in restful sleep.  Whey protein is a also great addition supplement that can be added to a healthy breakfast.

If supplements are something you would like to explore more, message me at purewholeness@gmail.com

I am here to help and guide you.

Seasonal Colds and Flu

Season changes, especially going into Autumn may increase the chances of catching the common cold and flu bugs. We can increase our chances of avoiding these by eating fresh berries. The flavonoids in berries are known for their immune boosting properties, this will help your body to flight infections. Blueberries, cherries and blackberries are top of this list and a great choice. The good news for those who enjoy an occasional glass of wine, is that this also has the same properties. However, over-indulgence is counter productive. A glass or two once a week is known to have positive benefits. Eating berries and increasing the flavonoids your body receives, also has great benefits for reducing erectile dysfunction.
